When and why did you decide to take up education as your career?

At the age of 44 I decided to extend my education, up to 2009 I was only 12th pass out. And I was operating my own school, my younger brother encouraged me to take more education. Then I started my graduation then post-graduation and B. Ed. But after spending 20 year in textile industry, I took VRS and choose education as career in 2013. When I took first appointment in a school, the same day I decided to be the principal. After 5 year I was appointed as principal.

As an educationalist, you are touching many human lives directly. Do you think educational institutions can play a significant role in overall development of students by encouraging them to take up co-curricular interests like Music, Art, Dance or Sports?

Yes, I am sure about it. Institutions and educationists play significant role in a student’s life for their overall development. An educationist is the only person after parents who thinks about student’s success.

What are some of the most important initiatives related to co-curricular that you have taken in the institutions you have served?

I always exited to take co-curricular activities to find out real talent in student, and always encourage them.

In the days when most people measure success only by academic score, how would you convey to the parents of your students that co-curricular education is not something to be looked down upon?

I always ask to parent what you want – your ward’s satisfaction or your satisfaction. Exactly whose ego you want to satisfy. So, kindly ask your wards and encourage them.

If you were to suggest one major change in perspective of co-curricular education, what would that be?

Educational boards are trying to encourage by co-curricular activities but some of institutions are not following in proper way, so make strict law against it.

What are your personal interests in Music, Art, Dance or Sports and how do you continue to pursue them?

Till now I have not got any institution to organize MADS coaching perfectly. But in future, if I get an institute, then I would want to organize for students specially kabaddi and singing.
