What are the key initiatives and facilities of your institution for MADS (Music, Art, Dance and Sport) as beyond education?

Our institution is keen to look after the students getting involved in co-curricular activities like Singing, Theatre Acting, Dancing, playing various outdoor as well as indoor games so that they maintain their overall physical as well as mental health.

What is your perspective of importance of MADS in overall development of students?

The only perspective is to educate and encourage students in these activities so that they get wider scopes and opportunities in their life.

What are the key achievements of your institutions/any students for MADS at national/international or other levels?

Our students have participated in several Art festivals, State and National Level Sports tournaments and they have successfully bagged awards and medals and have made us proud.

What are your suggestions to improvise MADS learnings at grassroots levels?

There has to be a proper platform for each co-curricular activity where a person can learn and even showcase his/her talent and eventually he/she would be graced by the whole world through it.

What are your personal favorites in MADS and how you pursue it?

I love outdoor sports and adventure activities. Trekking is my special interest. I did not pursue any career in it as such, but every year I am sparing some time for such activities.

Any other thoughts you want to share related to MADS…

MADS is the future of our nation because not every child is going to become a doctor or engineer and as imd1 has published so many success stories about so many artists, dancers and sportspersons, MADS is just not an ‘extra curriculum ‘anymore.
